“We see our role as making the implementation of CSR a reality”

What actions do you put in place to develop CSR in companies?

Our objective is to support companies to shift to a new business model in which they implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices that not only improve their impact but also help them being more transparent with all their stakeholders. Our services are adapted to the size and culture of the company. Our first step is to hold a workshop with our client in order to measure their current impact and the scope for improvement. The five areas we measure include governance, workers, community, environment, and customer relations. With the information and data we collect, we move to the second step, proposing a realistic program for implementation that takes into account our client’s resources. We also offer side projects where we will implement the changes we suggest.

How do you see the development of CSR in the corporate world?

In 2015, the United Nations set 17 sustainable development goals with a target of achieving them by 2030 to make our planet sustainable. Some large companies have already begun the process, even going so far as to create dedicated internal CSR positions and a budget to achieve their implementation. We are in the early stages of CSR adoption by large companies but their conversion is influencing medium and small companies to act, and vice versa. We see our role as making the implementation of CSR practices easier and accessible. In addition, new European and international standards and regulations encourage its development.
